The Versivo Association opens new production: Sheeting plant for chipboard coating

The plant for making semi-finished products for furniture trade will open on March 23, 2005. The enterprise is located in a new industrial facility with an area of 2,500 m².

The production was technically launched on March 12, 2005, and the first batch of output successfully passed the test at OOO Samara Laminat, which is part of the Versivo Association.

Modern technologies allow to make products of the highest quality, which are fully capable of filling the niche on the Russian market currently taken by imported goods.

The design capacity of the enterprise is 20,000,000 m² of sheeting per year. The sheeting will be distributed within Russia and former USSR countries.

The equipment is supplied by TOCCHIO и IMAL from Italy. The suppliers of raw materials for the new production facility include both Russian and foreign companies. Base paper and melamine are imported. The Russian enterprises based in Gubakha, Perm, and Togliatti will supply chemical components.

The sheeting production process is fully automated. The non-production and administrative staff amounts to 60 people.
